Brandi's initial love for yoga was sparked by inspiration she found on Instagram. She began by participating in various yoga challenges that different users facilitated, which worked perfect for her busy schedule (including two lovely boys)! This allowed her to grow her practice in her own timing and she continued making improvements as often as possible.


Brandi is currently enrolled in a 200 Hour Teacher Training program through Lotus in Lincoln and is excited to announce that she will complete her training in March. Brandi will start out teaching Vinyasa based classes but is looking forward to expanding and offering more options as they present themselves.


Brandi knows that movement is medicine and she is incredibly thankful to have the opportunity to share this with others. About me: Happy day friends! My name is Paige Whalen and I am the newest yogi to join Sangha. I am a senior attending UNK and changed my major to Philosophy last year, which built upon my hobby of reading (please share any good reads you have or happen to come across) and picking peoples brains through meaningful conversations. I also got bit Hard by the travel bug and love thinking about the endless opportunities and cultures to explore (so if you have any awesome thoughts on where to go I would love to hear them)! Yoga is more than a practice for me; it is truly a way of life. Some days I do a great job breathing through the day and bringing my mind, body, and soul together. Other days are a relentless struggle and it is on these days that I remember how thankful and grateful I am to be able to re-connect with the blessing of yoga. I have to continuously humble and remind myself that teaching this class is not about me, it is about you. It is about watching each of you grow in confidence and strength and comfort in your own skin.
